Saturday Football Clinics
For Ages 4-14 – Beginner to Intermediate Levels
Unlock your child’s potential with our dynamic football program, run by academy coaches and NPL players, designed to build skills, enhance cognitive development, and ignite a lifelong passion for the game. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to take their game to the next level, our program offers fun, engaging, and effective training tailored to each age group.
Program Objectives:
- Build and encourage individual skills
- Enhance cognitive development
- Foster a passion for the game
Age Groups & Focus Areas:
U4 – U8: Building Fundamentals
At this age, it’s all about getting comfortable with the ball and developing muscle memory. Players will focus on mastering the basics in a fun, game-like environment.
- Key Skills: Dribbling, turns, receiving, running with the ball, striking the ball
- Core Training: Agility and coordination exercises, ball mastery, 1v1 games
- Game Play: Free-flowing games with plenty of 1v1 opportunities to enhance confidence on the ball
U9 – U12: Refining Technique & Introducing Awareness
For players ready to take the next step, we continue to emphasise individual technique while introducing basic positional awareness to help players understand their role on the field.
- Key Skills: Ball mastery, passing and receiving, defensive principles (stance, position, angle)
- Core Training: Agility, ball control, 1v1, 2v1, 2v2 games
- Game Play: Fun, small-sided games (4v4) with a focus on positioning and teamwork
U13 – U14: Advanced Technique & Game Situations
As players approach the older age group, the focus remains on individual technique, but with more emphasis on real-game situations and tactical awareness.
- Key Skills: Passing and receiving, defensive principles, ball mastery
- Core Training: Agility, small-sided games, 1v1, 2v1, 2v2
- Game Play: Position-specific training, 4v4 with principles of play, both in and out of possession
