Are you ready for an exciting football season? Fremantle City FC is thrilled to invite all players to join us for the upcoming football season, set to kick off in March 2025.
Registration Details
Shortly, the club will open junior and senior registrations for returning players. Please keep an eye out for an email from our club coordinators, who will provide instructions and a link to complete your registration via the PlayFootball website.
Returning players will have until 14th February to finalise their registration. We encourage parents and players to complete their registrations before the cut-off period to avoid missing out.

If you have kids who are eager to play, FCFC offers a Kids Sports Club experience. To apply for your Kids Sports Voucher, simply click here.
Once you’ve obtained your Kids Sports Voucher, send it to secretary@fremantlecityfc.com.au and we’ll provide you with a PlayFootball Voucher, necessary for your registration on the PlayFootball website

Important Registration Tips
• Please select ‘Fremantle City Football Club’ during the registration process.
• Unless you’ve already been offered a place in one of our junior NPL or Academy teams through trials, please do not select these options in the available packages. Selecting NPL or Academy without eligibility will result in registration denial.
• For junior registrations, choose the correct age group based on your age this calendar year. For example, if you’re turning 12 this year, register for the Under 12s package.
• In Girls leagues, Football West follows an age group pattern every second year, starting from Under 10’s (for 8 to 10-year-olds). Be sure to select the appropriate age group.
• Boys aged 17 to 18 years have options to try out for our Amateur teams or join our social league teams.
• Miniroos programs are available for boys and girls aged 4 to 9 years old. The in-house development program for 4-7-year-olds runs on Saturdays, while 8-9-year-olds play on Sunday mornings in the Football West MiniRoos competition.
NEW TO FOOTBALL? OR FROM OVERSEAS?
If you’re new to football in Australia, you need to generate a Football Federation Australia (FFA) number, which takes just 2 minutes. Your login password will be sent to your email if you’ve played football overseas and are now joining us. You might require international clearance before participating in matches. Contact our registrar (admin@fremantlecityfc.com) before registering to understand the process.
Returning players can use their existing FFA account. If you’ve forgotten your FFA number or password, you can search for it at playfootball.com.au
CHANGING CLUBS?
If you’re considering transferring from another club, please note that inter-club transfers are possible until mid-season (often 1st July). Your Football West and Football Australia components will automatically be carried over if you’ve already paid at another club. Fremantle City Football Club will make personal arrangements for mid-season transfers.
Your registration is not complete until full payment has been received. Once registered and paid, your player status will change to “Active” once our age coordinators allocate you to a team.
For those looking to pay off their fees, payments must be made before playing games. FCFC players must be fully financial prior to playing games, and registrations will not be considered until all fees are received.
ALLOCATING PLAYERS TO TEAMS
We strive to make registration and team allocation as smooth as possible. Our goal is to place players in the best team for their ability while accommodating friendships when possible. Depending on requirements, pre-season grading or sorting sessions may be held.

PHOTO REQUIREMENTS
Players aged 12 and up must upload a clear head photo to complete their registration. Follow the guidelines below:
- Clear head photo (passport photo guidelines)
- Relatively recent photo
- Only the player should be in the photo, with no other person or animal
